11:49 pm - Driven From Within
Got hold of this book last week. I must say I was quite an interesting read.
Micheal Jordan is one of the all time best NBA player, baseball player and successful Businessman. Definitely a lot to learn from him. I always believe that man can be what ever he CHOSES to be. When Micheal was young his parents always though that he was one of dumb guy in this family.
One character I personally would like to take from Micheal Jordan is his passion in what ever he does. Nowadays life of a NBA a player is pretty much predictable. But this guy sailed through unpredictability and difficult times through hard work and passion to be the best.
One sentence I would like to quote from him is "being Successful has nothing to do with which car you drive or how much money you have." I see many people who try to show their worthiness by their buying power. According to me they are making fool of themselves. Worthiness in INTERNAL thing.

11:03 am - Google Double Clicks to cut Microsoft's air supply Cant agree more with Paul Graham in saying Microsoft is dead.
Google outbids Microsoft to buy DoubleClick for $3.1B in cash!
I think its time for Bill Gates to get some education at Stanford.
I know what will be the response of this post. MS employees will try to screw my ass, others know what I am talking about.

10:27 am - Getting Things Done I was longing to read Getting Things Done which is a tool for stress free productivity. I am glad that I finally completed it. This is not one of those Time Management System which your mom taught you. This methodology uses psychology and scientifically explains why doing in certain way increases your productivity and decreases the stress level. Even Partially implementing it has reduced my stress level by 10%. One of the thought which struck me was ............... "The conscious mind should be used as a focusing tool not as a storage device.." The most funny part is that most of the time we are not aware that we are using our mind as a storage device. For those who havent read this book, its highly recommended. 手机如何使用ssr教程 MI

Yes thats right he blamed his own employees for their mistake.
What do you thing is the cause of the Indian exit from World cup?
BCCI says its world cup rules! You can see this in newspaper with your own eyes.
Now I see why India fails in every world cup.

12:50 pm - UNCLE The word uncle is the most commonly used by everyone. In India, when I was young my parents has taught me not to call elders by their names. Therefore, using uncle was a safe bet.
After coming to West, I am really amazed about how much every one cares about their age (of course there are ovious exceptions). Its just not limited to fashion and the way in which they look, they want others to call them by only their first name. This includes desi FOBs also. This was my recent with one person.
He was giving me ride to university. We are sitting in car.
Me: Take a right turn UNCLE He:(completely upset with outrage voice)DONT CALL ME UNCLE Me:Sorry, I was just miss. He: What is your year of birth Me: 1980 He: I was born in 1972. Its just seven years difference. Me: I was falling out of car seat laughing.
Guess what, he dropped me somewhere on the way near by instead of dropping me to university.
MORAL: Never call anyone UNCLE. Bcus everyone wants to be under illusion that they are young.

11:35 pm - 手机上怎么使用ssr Let me explain. Have you ever seen Formula one racing? Do you know how famous these racers are? People flock to these racers to get a FRACTION of seconds of their attention.
All these racers dont know who might run over them during the race and which will be their last second of their life.
But they do definiately know the risk involved in the game.
They dont do because they have to do or to please others. The could have chosen a programmer or banker lifestyle which involves not risk to their lives. But they chose a different thing. They choose because they enjoy dont it. What is this enjoyment about?
I will explain this in my next para.
If you look at the animal kingdom, the leader in the group put its life to threat and hunts it pray. That increases its attractivness in group and he becomes the leader. Similarly, these racers do that because they know that it increses their STATUS in the society. Anything which increases your STATUS is atttractive.
Anytime you get risky job, DONT complain JUST DO IT. Because doing that is ATTRACTIVE.

09:28 pm - No Subject Morning I was walking on my usual path to university. Suddenly saw a chick was walking toward me. She wore big sunglasses, an open yet form-fitting jacket and a torn-edged denim miniskirt that revealed a pair of long legs.
My mind goes into gear: should I talk to her? What the hell can I say to her. All search algorithms used no result. Those five seconds put so much pressure on my mind that it was like I am carring a big rock on my head.
Then I decided to focus on beautiful weather on the lovely summer day. All of the sudden, she smiles at me and said "Hi!" (yes, with an exclamation point). I'll never know for sure, but I like to think that it was some subtle nonverbal communication that made her comfortable and happy to see me.
Yes Yes, I greeted her back.
